چکیده

We construct the first constant-size hierarchical identity-based signature (HIBS) without random oracles the signature size is O(λs) bits, where λs is the security parameter, and it is independent of the number of levels in the hierarchy. We observe that an efficient hierarchical identity-based signcryption (HIBSC) scheme without random oracles can be compositioned from our HIBS and Boneh, Boyen, and Goh’s HIBE (hierarchical identity-based encryption)[9]. We further optimize it to a constant-factor efficiency improvement. This is the first constant-size HIBSC without random oracles.

Identity based signcryption scheme without random oracles

Signcryption is a cryptographic primitive which performs encryption and signature in a single logical step with the cost lower than signature-then-encryption approach.. In this paper we gave attacks on confidentiality and unforgeability of two identity based signcryption schemes without random oracles. Further we proposed an improved identity based signcryption scheme without random oracles. We...

(Hierarchical Identity-Based) Threshold Ring Signatures without Random Oracles

We construct the first several efficient threshold ring signatures (TRS) without random oracles. Specializing to a threshold of one, they are the first several efficient ring signatures without random oracles after the only earlier instantiation of Chow, Liu, Wei, and Yuen [22]. Further specializing to a ring of just one user, they are the short (ordinary) signatures without random oracles summ...

Practical Hierarchical Identity Based Encryption and Signature schemes Without Random Oracles

In this paper, we propose a Hierarchical Identity Based Encryption scheme that is proven secure under the strongest model of [5] directly, without relying on random oracles. The size of the ciphertext is a constant while the size of public parameters is independent to the number of bit representing an identity. It is the first in the literature to achieve such a high security level and space ef...

Toward Certificateless Signcryption Scheme Without Random Oracles

Signcryption is a useful paradigm which simultaneously offers both the functions of encryption and signature in a single logic step. It would be interesting to make signcryption certificateless to ease the heavy burden of certificate management in traditional public key cryptography (PKC) and solve the key escrow problem in Identity-based public key cryptography (ID-PKC). Most certificateless s...

A New Construction of Identity-Based Signcryption without Random Oracles

The concept of signcryption, introduced to the public by Zheng [19], is a primitive that combines the functions of both digital signature and public key encryption. The efficiency of signcryption is higher than sequential composition of digital signature and public key encryption. Identity-based signcryption is a specific type of signcryption, in which each user’s public key can be a string ide...
